Rugby and Rome
Two trips for me with the Rugby. One to the home of English Rugby, Twickenham for the 6 Nations match against Wales and then to Rome in Italy for the final match thanks to my friend Ryan
We start off on the train to see if England can claim the Triple Crown. That means they will have beaten Scotland, Ireland and Wales in 2014 RBS Six Nations Championship.
There are lots of fans with flags and the noise was incredible
In the first half we saw two tries, the ball was grounded over the back line, by Danny Care and Luther Burrell.
We also saw some excellent goal kicking from Owen Farrell.
After the second half the final score was 29 – 18 to England so they had won the Triple Crown.
Now for Italy!
Ready for the trip with a ticket to the match, so it is off to the airport. I am really getting use to this flighting game. The aeroplanes are all different and the lovely staff all make me very welcome.
I do have to go through the scanner to make sure I am safe to travel in the air.
On one of my trips my sun glasses got knocked off in the machine and a very nice man had to recover them for me.
I met our travel hostess for the flight and she kindly showed me to my seat.
Then on arrival in Italy we saw another great match.
England beat Italy 52 – 11, but the results of the other matches left England in second place behind Ireland, but such an interesting game all round.
Now for a spot of sight seeing.
All these gates and I want a closer look, but it was quite difficult even for a little wolf Cub as these points were very sharp, so decided it was not a good idea to try and get through the gates.
Your trips are so exciting and I wish I could join you on them. So many interesting facts Good Luck to The Cubs of Sutton
