2016 Travel Adventures

100 year logo smIt is now the 100 years of Cub Scouting and my last year of travels.

CUBARNIVAL Title smCUBARNIVAL is in July so there will not be so many trips I expect this year.

The Cub Packs will have lots to do over the coming Months as they make bunting, design a flag and decorate a placemat for the various competitions being run for points in the District Challenge. Have a look at our adventure page to see what some of the Cubs have been up to this year, climbing, cycling, canoeing, sailing, cooking, camping, yoga and so much more.

“While everyone else is getting ready for Cubarnival, I’ve been on my travels again”  I’ve been to Cornwall.

This is what it is all about. Connecting us with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work towards a better future.  Nestled in a huge crater, massive covered Biomes housing the largest rain forest in captivity, Mediterranean landscapes and amazing plants. We travelled through South America, Africa, Asia, Australia, South Africa and California.Cornwall 4

The Original Balsa Eden Eco-Board.

In the Mediterranean Biome – my favourite as it reminded me of all the lovely sunny places I have visited.

What a huge bee!

I was told that these can sting so you must not touch them.

I had another great trip and I know that will probably not be too many more, so I am making the most of every opportunity
