This website is all about the adventures of Snaggles – the mascot for Sutton Cub Scout District in the County of Greater London South West. We hope that the information will be interesting to not only our own Cubs but will be inspirational to Cubs from other areas. While I am not looking for ideas for 2016 anymore, I have discovered the travel bug. There are still many places I have not visited. Do not forget me if you are travelling to exciting exotic places and could squeeze in a small friend I am open to offers. We can never discover enough to satisfy our young Cubs minds.
I have also had a brilliant time visiting Canada
I will also provide information on the busy programme of our Cubs and Leaders.
1st Cheam celebrated their 90th Anniversary with a joint group camp which I attended on a hot May bank holiday.
September 2018 will bring the start of a new term so here are some picture from the summer holidays from Nights Away Adventures. Lots of new experiences establishing Skills For Life
Our ADC(Cub Scouts) Sian Hewitt has been working very hard with her team to develop the future activities for the District. The next major event is:-
25th May 2019 – 31st May 2019

A fantastic selection of invitations throughout my three years of planning for CUBARNIVAL all greatly appreciated from Nights Away Activities to trips to Australia, Canada, The World Scout Jamboree and much more besides. Lots of information about the world for the Cubs and Beavers to discover.
Find out the latest news of Sutton Cub Scouts & where Snaggles has travelled to, from his home in Sutton, Surrey in England on this page.
Snaggles website on show at Nottingham Bowl for British Universities Tenpin Bowling Association tournament. Cake Sale was run at event to contribute towards Snaggles Sponsorship.
Snaggles has been spotted having fun at the Sutton Cubs IT badge event! The event is being held in the state of the art IT learning zone at Carshalton Boys Sports College. Snaggles has starred in an animation and been learning how to draw on an iPad 🙂 I think he deserves a badge!!
Hi,
My name is Wilbur and I am the Cub Pack mascot for Mawson Lakes Cub Pack in South Australia. I am sure you’ve got lots planned for the 100 years of cubbing, just as we have over this side of the world.
Akela and I are currently on Summer holidays from Scouts, but dont let the idea of being on holidays fool you! We are attending the Australian Scout Jamboree in a couple of weeks, before the new scouting year starts again
We are planning on keeping my blog up dated, which can be found at http://www.wilbarandfriends.blogspot.com.au if you would like to see what we are getting up to.
Hope you have a great christmas and new year period
Hello Wilbur, Great to hear news from the other side of the world. I was fortunate enough to visit Sydney this year with a friend. My ADC would like to spend an extended period in Australia when she retires.
Our 30 Cub packs have taken a Christmas break, but last weekend I visited one that had a Christmas themed sleepover and did some fund raising at one of our Supermarkets. Watch out for the write up soon on 2015 Adventures. Love Snaggles X
Hi Snaggles,
We just wanted to thank you for visiting 23rd Elsie Roy Scouts in Vancouver, BC, Canada. It was wonderful to meet all of you. We greatly appreciated you taking the time to teach us about Britain/UK and your amazing travels.
We’ll be sure to enjoy the biscuits!!
Regards,
Tom & Bowen Everitt
